Barry Watson

Barry Watson is the Founder and Assurance Partner of Watson Financial, LLC, established January 2025. With over 30 years of assurance and accounting experience, he is responsible for the execution of financial statement audits and all other assurance-related services, in accordance with AICPA and SSARS standards. Prior to founding the firm, Barry has worked for leading national and local firms such as Clifton Larson Allen, LLP, EisnerAmper, LLP, Armanino, LLP, Weaver, LLP, and TJ Advisors, LLC in Dallas Texas. He provides audit and assurance services to clients over the accuracy of their financial statements with regard to applicable standards and ensures that internal controls over financial reporting are properly designed as implemented. Barry enjoys growing and developing his client relationships; training associates and clients on current GAAP/GAAS/industry standards; recruiting staff; and organizing volunteer projects. In the community, Barry serves in the Special Needs Families Ministry at Bent Tree Church, as both a volunteer and family participant. Additionally, Barry serves as the Treasurer of BSF International’s local chapter in Richardson, Texas. “I’ve always had a heart to serve people in any capacity that my gifts can best be utilized.
